Penn offensive line update
This week’s biggest news for Penn State football is that starting left guard Landon Tengwall had an unspecified surgery and is out for the remainder of the year. What does this do to the Penn State offensive line? Pickel and T-Frank discuss that and how the team has responded in his absence. The duo discusses the depth at the offensive line, the rash of injuries and how they may have come at the right time in the season.
Part of that conversation is the recent news about Cornell transfer Hunter Nourzad, who made an announcement Tuesday morning. T-Frank and Pickel react to the statement and what it means for the team. They discuss the role of offensive line coach Phil Trautwein as well. Finally, T-Frank wants to know if Penn State can sustain this offensive line success with projected departures that could happen this offseason.
