Penn State football picked up yet another commitment ahead of national signing day with three-star running back Cameron Wallace. Check out Blue White Illustrated’s breakdown of his commitment with recruiting insider Ryan Snyder and film analyst Thomas Frank Carr discussing Wallace’s path to Penn State. If you haven’t yet, subscribe to Blue White Illustrated on YouTube so you don’t breaking news.

Penn State gets speed with Wallace

Wallace joins the Penn State class of 2023 as the second running back, joining PA native London Montgomery in Blue and White. The three-star runner chose Penn State over a handful of other schools but was locked in with Penn State for most of his recruitment. Snyder takes you through his rise within the Lasch football complex and how the staff views his skills as a football player.

If Wallace brings one thing to the table, it’s speed. Snyder rattles off his accolades as a runner but finishes with his track time, which T-Frank echos in his analysis of Wallace’s film. Despite being a low-ranked running back in the class, both Snyder and T-Frank think that Wallace is a much better player than his status would indicate. They discuss the reasons why that might be.

Finally, T-Frank gives his thoughts on the abilities of the 5-10 170-pound runner. BWI’s film analyst goes into each film analysis, wondering what the highlight tape is hiding. Does Wallace have the grit to play in the Big Ten for an underrated, speedy runner? T-Frank’s answer may surprise you.
