The Penn State Nittany Lions are one win away from the team’s first-ever College Football Playoff berth. Penn State Senior Day

It’s the final home game of the season, meaning its senior day for the Nittany Lions. Franklin talked about the team’s exiting class on Monday and reflected on their importance to the program.

You know, it’s also senior day for our guys, so it’s a lot that comes with that that’s been a little bit challenging, I think, for everybody in college football right now, with the COVID years and things like that. It’s, it’s, it’s made it a little bit wacky. Over the last couple years, you got six-year guys, you got fifth-year guys, you got fourth-year guys, some programs have seventh and eight-year guys, so that’s been, that’s been different, but forward to have the opportunity to celebrate these seniors and what they’ve done for our program.

Of course the biggest news on Monday was the announcement that both Anthony Donkoh and Alonzo Ford were out with long-term injuries.
