Penn State hard at work preparing for Oregon

A key player missing from the lineup last week was wide receiver Trey Wallace. Franklin mentioned on Sunday that Wallace was banged up late in the week before Maryland and wasn’t able to go. He was asked about Wallace’s status on Wednesday evening.

How confident is he that those players can suit up for his team this weekend?

“It’s good. But as you guys know, I don’t get into a whole lot of that kind of stuff unless it’s a long term injury, but, but we have confidence that both those guys will be available in plant that you saw in both out here, contributing today,” Franklin said.

Franklin also discussed what he’s seen from Oregon QB Dillion Gabriel on film.

“It seems like he’s been playing college football for like, last 10 years, and he’s just so poised and relaxed. You watch him play, he just looks so relaxed. He looks so poised. You’re not going to give him a whole lot that he hasn’t seen before, and he’s surrounded with really good talent. “
