Penn State injury report: Are Drew Allar, Anthony Donkoh, and Dani Dennis-Sutton in against Ohio State?
MADISON, Wisc. — No. 3 Penn State (7-0) meets Ohio State (6-1) today at Noon ET on FOX. Both sides enter the top five showdown at Beaver Stadium with injury issues. Lions quarterback Drew Allar, defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton, and right tackle Anthony Donkoh all exited last week’s win over Wisconsin with injuries. Buckeyes backup-turned-starting left tackle Zen Michalski was carted off at Nebraska last week while starting safety Lathan Ransom missed the contest. Are they all back today? Now that the Big Ten’s mandated pregame availability report is posted, we have more intel on who’s out and who’s questionable for both teams.
For Penn State, running back Quinton Martin Jr., receiver Kaden Saunders, safety KJ Winston Jr., running back Cam Wallace, linebackers Keon Wylie, defensive end Zuriah Fisher, and tight end Andrew Rappleyea are OUT. Right tackle Anthony Donkoh and defensive end Dani Dennis-Sutton are questionable.
Lions quarterback Drew Allar is not on the report. So, he’s good to go. Dennis-Sutton and Donkoh will test things out in pregame warmups. A decision will be made after those.
For Ohio State, left tackle Zen Michalski is OUT. It means the Buckeyes will likely slide starting right guard Donovan Jackson to tackle and bring second-year Buckeye Luke Montgomery in at guard. Tight end Will Kacmarek is also OUT.
In better news for the Buckeyes, starting safety Lathan Ransom is back today after missing last week’s game.
