Penn State tweets of the day
We start with the Penn State football team. Three Nittany Lions have been named to the 2023 Walter Camp preseason All-American team. Left tackle Olu Fashanu and cornerback Kalen King were both first-team selections. Defensive end Chop Robinson, then, was a second-team choice.
King is ready to take over for Joey Porter Jr., who is expected to be the first Lions defensive back ever taken in the first round of the NFL Draft later this month. Fashanu, then, returns following an injury that cost him the late portion of last season. And, Robinson is in his second season in State College.
“You watch him, and his competitive edge hasn’t dropped off from where it was a year ago, and we need that,” Lions defensive coordinator Manny Diaz said of King.
