We start with a confirmed Class of 2024 visitor later this month. Quarterback Anthony Maddox will be on campus the weekend of Jan. 27 for a junior day. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound passer from Hattiesburg, Miss., Oak Grove just picked up a scholarship from PSU this week. He is an On3 four-star but an On3 Consensus three-star. Alabama and Pittsburgh have also offered to date.
In other news, the Lions announced three new transfer portal additions on Monday. The team officially welcomed scholarship cornerback Storm Duck, who previously played at North Carolina, and also walk-on kicker Alex Felkins and scholarship punter Riley Thompson. The former was a two-time All-Ivy League selection at Columbia before joining the Nittany Lions. The latter is a highly-regarded special teams player from Florida Atlantic.
