Penn State vs. Michigan Monday autopsy

Bauer, the eternal optimist, looks at the game differently than most fans and joins T-Frank to share his thoughts about how the game went and how it could have been different, save a few costly mistakes. T-Frank will discuss how Blake Corum, the Michigan offensive line and JJ McCarthy found a way to do things that Penn State’s offense could not. He’ll also give his thoughts on Sean Clifford, Parker Washington, Mitchell Tinsley and the goal line fades that cost the Nittany Lions points on Saturday.

Meanwhile Bauer will share his thoughts on Penn State’s propensity to drop the next game following a tough loss in a season. Can the Nittany Lions rebound?

From there, they’ll get into a specific discussion about the offense on Saturday and the larger problems that plague the Nittany Lions on that side of the ball.

Next, they’ll discuss the defense and how Penn State allowed 418 yards rushing to Michigan in one of the most lopsided defeats in recent memory for Penn State head coach James Franklin.

There will also be plenty of time for your thoughts and opinions. Fans who join the show can interact with the hosts and ask specific questions about the game or the second half of the season. They’ll discuss Minnesota, the White Out Game, and if the defense is genuinely susceptible to the Gophers as they were to the Wolverines.

Michigan run-game pivot blows the doors off Penn State defense: Film Review

We started the week with an assessment of the Penn State offense because there was less to sort through on the way to the Nittany Lions’ 41-17 butt-kicking. But the real story of Penn State’s demise in Ann Arbor is about the defense. Today, we have the unenviable task of sorting through a laundry list of defensive issues that led to Penn State giving up 418 yards rushing in a single game.

We’ll try to cover the major points, but there are plenty of problems. So, as you might imagine, we’ll focus mainly on the running game and how Michigan was able to out-flank, out-maneuver, and out-muscle the Nittany Lions on Saturday.
