Penn State improved to 2-0 Saturday, as the Nittany Lions got a big win over MAC foe Ohio, winning 46-10. With the Lions up three scores early in the third quarter, head coach James Franklin wasted little time getting some of his younger players experience, bringing in five-star freshman quarterback Drew Allar just four minutes into the third quarter. Allar didn’t disappoint, completing six of eight passes for 88 yards and two touchdowns.

Classmate Nick Singleton also made a statement Saturday, rushing for 179 yards on just 10 carries, scoring two touchdowns. Overall, eight players registered a carry, while 17 different players had a reception, and that was just on offense. Defensively, Penn State had 24 players total at least one tackle. Linebacker Tyler Elsdon led the team with six total tackles.

Following the game, Franklin discussed the win with the media inside the Beaver Stadium press room. Nittany Lion fans can watch his complete press conference below.
