Penn State will head into its bye week undefeated, as the Nittany Lions got past Northwestern Saturday 17-7. It wasn’t the smoothest of performances – Penn State turned over the ball five times – but the defense kept the Wildcats from ever gaining some serious momentum on offense.

Head coach James Franklin and his coaching staff will now hit the road next weekend to do some recruiting while also preparing for the upcoming showdown in Ann Arbor against No.4 Michigan. That game is expected to be announced as the Big Noon Kickoff on FOX at some point in the next day or two.

But before we turn the page to Penn State’s future, check out BWI’s photographer Daniel Althouse photo gallery from a rain-soaked Beaver Stadium Saturday.
