Game Thread: Penn State vs. Purdue
Penn State fans, the 2022 season is finally here! It’s been 243 days since the Nittany Lions lost to Arkansas in the Outback Bowl. That game was one for Nittany Nation to forget, but that’s what we love about college football. It’s a new season. Anything can happen.
This year’s team has a even mix of returning starters and new contributors, and they’ll be put to the test early, as Penn State opens the season on the road in the Big Ten (again) against a Purdue squad that went 8-4 during the 2021 regular season. The Boilermakers also got a quality win over Tennessee in the Music City Bowl.
