Penn State recruiting chat with BWI's Ryan Snyder

Penn State fans are expecting to hear good news later today, as four-star linebacker Tony Rojas is set to announce his commitment at 4 p.m. eastern time. The Fairfax, Va., native is down to three schools, with Penn State considered the favorite over Clemson and Georgia.
A commitment from Rojas would be the first for the Nittany Lions at the linebacker position, but if all goes to plan, it won’t take long for the second, as Pittsburgh native Ta’Mere Robinson is expected to announce tomorrow. Just like Rojas, Robinson is one of the top linebackers in the country, holding a four-star rating. Robinson sits at No. 126 nationally in the On3 Consensus rankings, while Rojas ranks slightly above him at No. 109.

Of course, those two are far from the only 2023 prospects to keep an eye on. Offensive tackle Evan Link remains a massive priority for the Nittany Lions. Stanton Ramil, from Thompson High School in Alabama, isn’t too far behind Link either.
To get a better feel for where Penn State stands with its top prospects, BWI’s Ryan Snyder is taking questions from subscribers Thursday in our Lions Den message board. In addition to 2023, there’s no shortage of topics to discuss after a busy summer. Nittany Lion fans, join him by clicking the link below.
