Whiteout Camp

Penn State hosted its first two camps of the summer this past weekend. Saturday, the Nittany Lions football staff gathered some of the best talents in the region for the 2022 Whiteout Camp. The camp also included many commits from the Class of 2023, including high four-star linemen Jven Williams and Alex Birchmeier. The campers went through a series of combined drills, took their measurements, and then got group instruction during drills from various coaches.

All but one offensive line commit from the Class of 2023 and 2024 was present at the Whiteout Camp on Saturday at Penn State. Blue White Illustrated was on hand to see how those players and the rest of the camp linemen fared in individual pass drills.

Whiteout Camp 3

Penn State Elite Showcase Camp

Penn State has just over 200 players on campus for the Elite Showcase camp on Sunday afternoon. Players from the Northeast, Florida and Canada descended on campus for a roughly five-hour session split into two groups. The camp featured mostly players from the classes of 2024 and beyond, though select players from 2022 and 2023 were in attendance trying to make a name for themselves.

Elite Showcase Camp Pt. 2

Some of the standouts on Sunday include four-star quarterback Adrian Posse from Florida. The Miami passer was taller than the rest of the quarterbacks in attendance and had a noticeable zip on the football. Running back for the Class of 2025, John Forster was equally impressive. He was impressive physically, but he looked fast running the 40-yard dash.
