Penn State offensive line paves way for blowout victory: BWI Live postgame show

Penn State blows out Auburn

Penn State football took a major step forward on Saturday with a 41-12 blowout of SEC foe Auburn. The Nittany Lions went into halftime up 14-6, but put on the jets in the third quarter, scoring 17 points, thanks to two explosive runs for freshman superstar Nicholas Singleton. The Nittany Lions offensive line was the star of the day beyond Singleton. Penn State ran for 249 yards in the game.

Game Breakdown

T-Frank has high praise for the offensive line, which put together its best performance in over two years. Aside from solid pass blocking, the Nittany Lions dominated up front and rushed the ball 39 times for 245 yards. Singleton wasn’t the only player who stood out in the backfield, with Kaytron Allen chipping in 52 yards and Devyn Ford running for 37 in mop-up duty.

He highlights the blocking by Brenton Strange, Tyler Warren, and offensive linemen Olu Fashanu and Sal Wormley.
