Penn State offseason updates: Where will Trey Wallace visit after going into the portal? Latest Lions' stay-or-go list
Former Penn State receiver Trey Wallace hit the NCAA transfer portal on Tuesday. Now, the Alabama native has set his first round of visits, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. The former Nittany Lion will see Texas A&M Saturday and South Carolina Sunday. He is also working on taking trips to Louisville and North Carolina, Nakos reports. Wallace has one season of eligibility remaining.
In other news, Penn State picked up two more roster retainment wins in addition to the three it secured on Monday and two on Tuesday when offensive lineman JB Nelson and linebacker Dominic DeLuca both announced they’d “run it back” for one more year in State College on Wednesday afternoon.
Find the latest on the decisions shaping the Lions’ 2025 roster below. We cover everything from return-to-school announcements to NFL Draft declarations portal entries, plus those who are out of eligibility from the 2024 team.
Latest on the former Penn State players who are in the portal
There were no new transfer portal losses as of 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The deadline for undergraduates to enter was Tuesday night. But, a 48-hour grace period for compliance offices to submit paperwork means that Penn State players could still appear in the portal through Thursday. And, graduates can go in at any time, of course.
So far, former Penn State tight end Jerry Cross is at Memphis. Beau Pribula, then, is now at Missouri. No other one-time Nittany Lion has picked a new school yet. The list of players in the portal includes:
WR Trey Wallace
WR Omari Evans
CB Cam Miller
S Tyrece Mills
WR Mehki Flowers
WR Tyler Johnson
DT T.A. Cunningham
Updated stay-or-go decisions as of 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday night
