A top-five college wrestling showdown takes place tonight in Columbus as No. 1 Penn State travels to No. 5 Ohio State. The action begins at 7 p.m. ET, and this is tonight’s home for updates, the latest score, and more as the match unfolds.

“You would say that on paper that we don’t match up great with them,” Buckeyes coach Tom Ryan said this week. “All my studs are aligned with national champions. There are not too many teams that can beat our best guys. And they’re one of them. Penn State is one of them. So we have to be ready to roll on Friday night.”

Penn State 174-pound multi-time national champion Carter Starocci, meanwhile, discussed the importance of the stretch that awaits the Lions over the next month before the Big Ten and NCAA tournaments in March.

“We have six weeks and four days until the big show, so it’s going by quick, and I think getting ready for the postseason, getting ready for Ohio State, it’s just that time of year,” Starocci said.

“Everything else has to be put on the backburner and it’s time to dial in and be clear on what we want and go get it.”
