James Franklin press conference
The media began by asking for a status update on running back Keyvone Lee. The third-year tailback left the game early against Auburn with an injury and wasn’t seen at practice Wednesday.
After one of his biggest games of the season, the media wanted to know more about Franklin’s thoughts on defensive end Adisa Isaac. The veteran defensive end had five quarterback hits and a sack on Saturday, making it the most prolific game of his career. Franklin spoke about his return from injury and how he’s handled the pressure of expectation.
Franklin also spoke about both of his quarterbacks during the ten-minute session. He discussed the hit that starter Sean Clifford took and how he saw it live versus how he saw it after the fact. He was also asked what backup Drew Allar needs to improve on that we haven’t seen yet.
