In light of the sport’s power brokers officially adopting the 5+7 expanded model, Chip Patterson puts Penn State at No. 9 for this year’s 12-team field. He matches them up opposite No. 8 Alabama, which would be a home game for the Crimson Tide in Tuscaloosa.
