Penn State recruiting sends out new offer: BWI Daily

Penn State football is still searching for several important pieces for the class of 2023, but with football season drawing closer, those conversations may be on hold for the moment. The BWI Daily Edition: Recruiting Show is back to discuss a new offer, preview an exciting week of high school football, and more.
New offer
Host Greg Pickel and recruiting insider Ryan Snyder start with Penn State’s latest offer this month. St. Francis defensive lineman Sam Greene is the latest defensive line prospect that the Nittany Lions have reached out to recently. Snyder discusses what he knows about Greene and his relationship with the staff. They also discuss how Greene’s offer’s fits into the picture with several other prospects like Jalen Thompson out of Cass Tech and Will Norman from St. Francis committing elsewhere. Snyder also doesn’t see many more offers going out in the next few weeks because one major factor that takes place over the next couple of weeks.
Headliner high school games featuring Penn State commits and prospects
Next, they discuss notable regional and national high school games coming up this weekend. Several include prospective targets for 2024, such as Rico Scott, Omillio Agard, and Tyseer Denmark. Others have 2023 committed prospects like St. Joes Prep taking on King Mack, Conrad Hussey, and St. Thomas Aquinas in Florida. Finally, Pickel gives Penn State fans the time and YouTube channel to watch three-star quarterback Jaxon Smolik face rival, Southeast Polk, in the first game of the season. Snyder and Pickel discuss which games feature which prospects and where they’re playing.
