Penn State February offers roundup: O-line, D-line and linebackers
Penn State Nittany Lions football issued 30 scholarship offers to prospects around the country in February.
Let’s take a look at each one, starting with the offensive line, defensive line and linebackers.
Jaybron Harvey – 2023 Edge
Harvey, out of Southern High School in North Carolina, is a four-star prospect according to On3 and the On3 Consensus, which rates him as the No. 230 overall prospect in the 2023 cycle. He also holds offers from UNC, Michigan, South Carolina, Virginia Tech and more. At 6-foot-4, 215 pounds, Harvey boasts an ability to explode off the line.
“The best part of my game is getting off the ball,” Harvey told BWI. ” I can read the snap count. I’m explosive off the ball. If you can’t reach me, you can’t block me, but I can be physical and bull rush too.”
Darrion Smith – 2024 DL
Smith, who Penn State views as a defensive tackle, is unrated as of yet. The 6-foot-2, 260-pound prospect out of St. Frances in Baltimore also holds offers from Ole Miss, Maryland, Boston College and Toledo.
Tyriq Blanding – 2023 DL
Blanding is a 2023 defensive line prospect out of Christ the King Regional in New York. A four-star prospect and the No. 247 overall recruit in the class per On3, Blanding is listed at 6-foot-2, 280 pounds. He holds offers from Ohio State, Oregon, Notre Dame, and Michigan, among many more.
Kamren Robinson – 2023 LB
Penn State offered Robinson early on in the month. He’s a three-star prospect according to On3 and the On3 Consensus, which ranks him as the No. 404 player in the country and the No. 43 linebacker. Standing at 6-foot-1.5 and 215 pounds, Robinson has received offers from Virginia, Old Dominion and Boston College.

Jadon Perlotte – 2025 LB
Perlotte is one of several prospects from Buford High School in Georgia to receive a Penn State offer this month. Not yet rated, Perlotte holds offers from Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and Michigan, among others. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds.

Paul Mubenga – 2023 OT
Mubenga rounds out a quintet of Buford players to be offered by Penn State in February. The 2023 offensive tackle isn’t rated by On3 or the Consensus, and is listed at 6-foot-4, 280 pounds. His other offers include Texas, UNC, Tennessee, Michigan and Ole Miss.
Zechariah Owens – 2023 OT
Owens is a blue-chip offensive line prospect, rated as a four-star according to the On3 Consensus, which ranks him 294th overall in the Class of 2023. Out of Eagles Landing Christian Academy, Owens is listed at 6-foot-7, 345 pounds. He boasts a hefty offers list, including Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, LSU and many more power-conference programs.
Wilkin Formby – 2023 OT
Continuing with the trend of offensive linemen from the south, Wilkin Formby out of Northridge High School in Alabama received a Penn State offer in February. At 6-foot-7, 295 pounds, Formby is a four-star prospect according to the Consensus. On3 rates him as a top-100 recruit in the 2023 cycle. Ole Miss, Alabama, Oklahoma, Kentucky and Tennessee have also offered.
Connor Lew – 2023 IOL
Lew is another Georgia offensive lineman to receive a Penn State offer last month. He plays his high school football at Kennesaw Mountain and is rated by On3 and the Consensus as a three-star prospect. Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Tennesse and others have offered.
