Penn State coach Cael Sanderson and the Nittany Lions are back in action Sunday.

No. 1 Penn State wrestling is back in action tonight. Head coach Cael Sanderson’s team travels to No. 23 Rutgers for its latest Big Ten showdown.

The Nittany Lions are a perfect 13-0 and on the cusp of clinching another conference regular season title. The Scarlet Knights, who are coached by Scott Goodale, are 10-5.

“They always have a great crowd atmosphere and following and they’ll be ready to go,” Sanderson said this week. “They’re tough and have always had a lot of talent on the roster and just kids that are well coached and are ready to go. So just like every match, we have to compete hard and be ready for an exciting battle.”
