We start with another batch of new names to know who will be visiting Penn State this weekend. The latest updates include Class of 2024 Pitt commit and Philadelphia defensive lineman Jahsear Whittington, St. Louis four-star receiver Ryan Wingo, Baltimore 2024 four-star Ernest Willor, Archbishop Wood 2024 four-star offensive tackle Kevin Heywood, 2025 recruit Anthony Sacca, and 2024 corner Ellis Robinson IV, who is an On3 Consensus five-star from Connecticut who is a top-seven player in the next cycle.
“This is going to be an opportunity for you to be able to get a bunch of people on campus,” head coach James Franklin said Wednesday night. “I think we have to be upfront and honest with a lot of them. It’s not a normal game day where we’re going to be able to spend a lot of time with them.
“Not just because of all the things that are going on from a White Out perspective, but also just the numbers. Just the raw numbers that there are of prospect, big-time prospects that are going to be here. It takes a lot of organization.”
In other news, Penn State was back on the practice field Wednesday night. Quarterback Sean Clifford was present during a brief media viewing window. Back Keyvone Lee was not, however, and it’s unclear why.

Quote of the day
“I think it has evolved. And I think that’s critical for our entire organization, for all the assistants, for myself, for the players. I think it’s really important,” Franklin said. “I think, at the end of the day, whether it’s practice, or whether it’s in our facility, the players are going to feed off of our energy.
“And there’s a fine line between making sure everybody understands that whenever the outcome was not good enough, but also not to the point where it lingers. That is critical. In this conference, and on our side of the conference, there’s no time for lingering feelings or emotions.”
