STATE COLLEGE — No. 7 Penn State and UCLA both entered Saturday with questions about whether or not key personnel would be available for their Noon ET clash at Beaver Stadium. Both head coaches were coy throughout the week about where things stood. Now, though, both have offered the latest update via the Big Ten’s mandated pregame availability report. Who’s out and who’s questionable for both teams?

For Penn State, receiver Kaden Saunders, safety KJ Winston Jr., quarterback Jaxon Smolik, running back Cam Wallace, linebackers Keon Wylie and Kari Jackson, defensive ends Mason Robinson, Jaylen Harvey, and Zuriah Fisher, receivers Ethan Black Peter Gonzalez, tight end Andrew Rappleyea, linemen Sam Siafa, Liam Andrews, De’Andre Cook, and T.A. Cunningham. are OUT. Running back Nicholas Singleton is QUESTIONABLE.

Singleton was not at practice Wednesday but James Franklin said at the time that there was “nothing at this stage” to suggest he’d be out today. Saunders is a new addition to the list. He has been playing with an injury all season.

For UCLA, quarterback Ethan Garbers is questionable and will be a game-time decision. Backup Justyn Martin will start if he is out. And, all indications from warmup say that he will be and Martin will thus start for the first time. Starting offensive tackle Reuben Unije is OUT. It’s unclear who the next man up is for the Bruins.
