Penn State tweets of the day

We start with recruiting visitors for the Penn State White Out game. The Nittany Lions host Iowa at 7:30 p.m. Saturday on CBS. Many commits, in addition to Class of 2024 targets and top underclassmen, will watch it live at Beaver Stadium.

Blue-White Illustrated’s recruiting insiders have informed subscribers about the list for weeks. Now, some of those prospects are making their travel plans public. That group of those players includes four-star 2024 defensive lineman Ernest Willor, California four-star receiver and top-50 Class of 2025 player Marcus Harris, and Class of 2026 four-star Florida quarterback Dia Bell.

In other news, On3 Director of Scouting and Rankings Charles Power recently highlighted how some of the nation’s top Class of 2024 are performing to start their senior year. One of them is Penn State commit Ethan Grunkemeyer, who moved up 37 spots to No. 137 overall in the latest On300 rankings.

Ethan Grunkemeyer has maintained the momentum from a showing at the Elite 11 Finals early on as a senior,” Power writes. “The Penn State pledge looked like one of the cycle’s better passers in the camp setting, with a live arm, smooth movement skills and tight mechanics.

“That’s carried over to the fall, with Grunkemeyer showing considerable improvement on Friday nights while leading his team to a 5-0 record. Grunkemeyer has been confident and accurate while also showing some playmaking ability.”

Quote of the day

“It’s a beautiful sight. I get out a little earlier when the team comes out and I take my headsets off and take it in every time. To hear the crowd erupt and the enthusiasm, and it’s a sea of white. It’s amazing. Everyone wins from it. It’s a delight that the football program has that impact on the university.”
