Penn State football will learn its first kick times for the 2025 season today. The Big Ten and its television partners are set to announce time and TV info for every team’s initial games on Thursday. They also have the option of sharing additional information. Last year on this day, the Lions’ non-conference schedule was finalized, while two Big Ten games received window assignments but not specifics.

As for what we can expect to find out later today, start times for the Lions’ opener with Nevada on Aug. 30 and their meetings with FIU and Villanova on Sept. 6 and Sept. 13, respectively, are expected but not guaranteed to be announced. Scott Dochterman of The Athletic attempted to predict the start times for some of the pending announcements. You can read his full projections here. He projects that Penn State-Nevada will start at 3:30 p.m. ET while the clash with the Panthers will begin at Noon ET. He did not make a call for the Villanova game, which could be relegated to Big Ten Network and put on a 12-day hold, meaning a final decision would come sometime in August.

Information could start flowing out in the morning. But, it’s more likely than not that the official announcements will be made sometime in the afternoon. Blue-White Illustrated subscribers can learn what we’re hearing before the news hits the Internet inside of The Lions Den forum. And, to answer a question we know is coming: While the White Out game and time could come out Thursday, we’d bet against it.

In other news, new Penn State commit Jaziel Hart has canceled all of his other scheduled official visits as expected after picking head coach James Franklin’s program last week. He announced the news on social media.
