We start with the latest on Penn State wrestling. The Nittany Lions dominated Indiana 35-8 and improved to 13-0 on the season. Head coach Cael Sanderson’s team won eight of ten bouts. No. 1 Carter Starocci beat No. 15 DJ Washington by major decision, 11-3, in the highlight bout of the night. Marco Vespa also wrestled for the Lions at 125 pounds instead of Gary Steen. But, the unranked Nittany Lion fell 17-2 to Jacob Moran. Beau Bartlett. Shane Van Ness, Max Dean, and Greg Kerkvliet all earned bonus point victories.

“I think giving up that first takedown really kind of let a bit of pressure off me; it just allowed me to open up and just fire off my attacks,” Facundo told the Penn State Sports Network, per PennLive. “Just go out there and score some points and have some fun with it.

“I’m feeling pretty good … all these matches are learning experiences. I learned things about my wrestling on Friday and I learned a lot of things today, just little things that I can keep working on and also things that will work as we get into the Big Tens and nationals.”
