Penn State wrestling television schedule and start times: When will the Lions be on Big Ten Network or B1G+?
Penn State wrestling released its complete 2024-2025 schedule earlier this month. Now, as the No. 1 Nittany Lions sit a month away from embarking on their Big Ten and NCAA title defense, the Big Ten Network has released information regarding when the Lions will be on either BTN or B1G+, which is the conference’s streaming service.
Head coach Cael Sanderson’s first two matches, both of which will be held inside Rec Hall, are on B1G+. Those feature the regular season opener with Drexel on Nov. 17 and Wyoming on Dec. 15. The Lions’ first televised match comes when they welcome Michigan State to town at 8 p.m. ET on Jan. 10 to open the Big Ten portion of the schedule. Big Ten Network will air that match and also the following PSU dual meets:
–Penn State at Nebraska at 9 p.m. ET on Fri., Jan. 17
–PSU at Rutgers on Fri., Jan. 24 at 8 p.m. ET
–Iowa at PSU at the BJC on Fri., Jan. 31 at 7 p.m. ET
–Michigan at Penn State at the BJC on Fri., Feb. 7 at 6 p.m. ET
–PSU at Ohio State on Fri., Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. ET
It all means that, at this time, the Lions’ Big Ten matches with Maryland on Feb. 9 and at Illinois on Feb. 16 will only be available on B1G+. As for the non-conference slate, its regular season finale with American on Feb. 21 will be on B1G+, too, at 7 p.m. ET.
Last but not least, FloWrestling will steam the Army Black Knight Invitational next month, which PSU will attend, and also the Lions’ Sun., Dec. 8 dual with Lehigh at the PPL Center in Allentown.
