Penn State began its 2023 season in style Saturday, defeating West Virginia 38-15. The debut of quarterback Drew Allar grabbed most of the headlines, as Allar shined in his first start, completing 21 of 29 attempts for 325 yards and three touchdowns. The Nittany Lions’ offense also finished with 478 total yards, while the defense held West Virginia to just two scores.
