There was no shortage of Penn State recruiting targets playing for a PIAA state championship this past weekend, as all six classifications featured at least one player who held an offer from head coach James Franklin and his staff.
The games also featured three players who are committed to Penn State in 2024 prospects Quinton Martin (Belle Vernon and Kenny Woseley (Imhotep), as well as 2025 running back Tiqwai Hayes from Aliquippa. Future Nittany Lion wide receiver Tyseer Denmark also played for Imhotep this season but was forced to miss the playoffs due to PIAA transfer rules.

All four of PSU’s future players left Cumberland Valley with a state championship win this past weekend. Hayes put up the biggest numbers, totaling 222 yards rushing and three touchdowns, while Martin added 133 yards rushing and one touchdown. Woseley totaled three tackles and two pass breakups while also making a 30-yard field goal.
