STATE COLLEGE — Penn State football is back on the practice field. The Nittany Lions held their latest set of preseason drills on Thursday night. It felt more like fall than early August as the team worked outside of Holuba Hall and the Lasch Building. Head coach James Franklin had plenty of smiles to flash as the overall mood of the day seemed positive, while the work on the field could best be described as feverish as the team went through position drill work and stations focusing on fundamentals while reporters were on hand.

Check out our latest photos from practice below. And, stay tuned for more as Franklin, plus a handful of assistant coaches and players, will speak with the media Thursday night.
