The Penn State football program has lost two defenders to interim suspension at the open of preseason practice on Wednesday.

Penn State football was fairly successful in staving off the NCAA transfer portal through the first five months of 2024. However, five more Nittany Lions joined KeAndre Lambert-Smith and, Malick Meiga and Davon Townley in the spring transfer portal on Thursday. The group includes wide receiver Malik McClain, offensive lineman Golden Israel-Achumba, running backs London Montgomery and David Kency Jr., and safety King Mack.
