As we continue our review of the Penn State defense, there's no way around a certain feeling. It's disrespectful to have the Nittany Lion's defensive tackles fourth on our list of five positions. This group is experienced, big(ger), and they have some potentially great players. In fact, they've slid back a spot from our pre-Blue-White Game rankings this spring. That is no fault of their own. In fact, the spring game gave us flashes of some young defenders who showed promise during the game. But as we'll get into in a second, this position has been steady and unsexy over the last few years. They may be the bedrock of the defense, but there are some elements they need to show before they can rise up the rankings and unseat the other positions ahead of them.
