Printable Penn State football roster: West Virginia week
Penn State football’s roster has been settled for months, all building toward this weekend’s season-opener. Set to take on West Virginia on Saturday night at Beaver Stadium (7:30 p.m., NBC), the Nittany Lions’ 2023 edition will finally take the field.
Still, there will be new names, new faces, and new numbers to follow. And, at Beaver Stadium or on the couch, a detailed roster could come in handy this weekend. (We also have created a handy projected depth chart, found here.)
Given those changes, Blue-White Illustrated is providing a printable roster for games each week this season. It’s updated to reflect the latest changes, which were dissected in-depth this week by BWI’s Greg Pickel.

Colorado star 'definitely' in 2025 draft
“No one has been added to or deleted from the roster following preseason camp,” he writes. “But, more than 80 Nittany Lions have lost or added weight since practices began in August.”
Let’s start with a closer look at the new numbers from last year’s players, then the transfer additions, and finally the numbers for Penn State football’s Class of 2023.
Notable new number changes from last season
- Junior receiver Malick Meiga is now wearing No. 4. Previously, he was No. 80.
- Fellow receiver Cristian Driver will now wear the No. 80 jersey. He previously wore No. 13. But, with his move from defense to offense this season, overlap with running back Kaytron Allen necessitated the change.
- Penn State defensive end Amin Vanover is now No. 15. Previously, he was No. 56.
