If there's one thing I've learned this summer, it's that we can't talk enough about the Penn State wide receivers, retriever recruiting, and position coach Marques Hagans. The story took an epic twist on Thursday, when in-state receiver Lex Cyrus chose South Carolina over Penn State. For more on Texas recruit Taz Williams, check out our latest update on the message board. Missing out on Cyrus makes it feel like a five-alarm fire is burning in Penn State's house. For more on the team's recruiting efforts, check out the "S" Zone from earlier this week. But while that inferno rages across message boards and social media in mid-July, let's pause and take a look at the work that Hagans has done for Penn State in his nearly 18 months on the job. We're ranking the wide receiver recruits for 2024 and 2025 in one group.
