The Penn State defense held the Minnesota offense under 300 yards, with just over 100 coming on the ground and less than 200 yards through the air. Despite that, it felt like a very uneven and less-than-dominant performance from the defense in the team's 26-25 win. Part of that, like with the offense, has to do with special teams' blunders that led to points for the Gophers. Still, it was a decent day for the Nittany Lions, which we'll highlight in our recap.
