The Penn State Nittany Lions football team defeated Maryland 44-7 on Saturday despite a clunky start on offense. The team scored three points in the first quarter before exploding for 28 in the second. They took that 31-7 lead at halftime and never looked back. As always, the answer to why Penn State got off to a slow start is in the details. We break those down each week on the Blue White Illustrated message board in our Sunday Film Study thread. You'll get a synopsis of almost every offensive play and video to help you watch along. We'll recap that thread here.
