Penn State football started its 2024 defensive line class with a defensive lineman near the top of the board. Three-start defensive line prospect Xavier Gilliam was a strong Penn State lean through his recruiting process and made his decision final after his official visit on June 4. Despite being a top priority, Gilliam is not a widely recruited prospect, ranking 1048th in the On3 Industry Ranking. He’s a three-star across the board with that ranking. So is Penn State settling?
