We start with Alvin Henderson. The 5-foot-9, 195-pound Elba, Ala., Class of 2025 running back will announce his decision on Thursday. A time has not yet been announced. The four-star who is the nation’s No. 110 player in the On3 Industry Rankings and No. 7 player at his position is fresh off a visit to see Penn State. He has also seen Auburn, the current On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine leader, this spring in addition to Florida State, Florida, and Miami.
“This weekend visit to Penn State was big,” Henderson told On3. “Opened up my eyes a lot! I took this visit because Coach (James) Franklin and Coach [Ja’Juan Seider] wanted me to come up because they know that I’m a huge priority to them and feel like I could come in and be a huge asset to the team!”

In other news, Penn State held its final open practice and media session before Saturday’s Blue-White game. James Franklin said defensive tackle Alonzo Ford Jr., is not yet back practicing with the team but should be ready for spring practice. He noted the spring game should be a traditional scrimmage format. And, Team Blue and Team White will be split up to make for the most “competitive” game possible, Franklin said.
