Penn State tweets of the day
One of the nation’s top high school juniors, Bo Bassett, is nearing decision day. He will join Flo Wresting FRL radio at 11 a.m. Monday to make some kind of an announcement. It’s unclear if it will be his college choice or if he will be setting a date for his eventual announcement. Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Rutgers and Virginia Tech are the teams still left in the running. Bassett is 35-0 this year, 109-0 in his high school career at Bishop McCort in Johnstown, and has 69 technical fall wins and 29 pins. He is one of the nation’s top Class of 2026 recruits and has at least one former Penn State player pushing him toward the Nittany Lions.
“After seeing Penn state domination it can’t be any other choice!!! We have the best environment and wrestling room in the country! That’s facts! Come join the greatest legacy ever created!!,” Micah Parsons wrote on Twitter.
Here is what Bassett posted on Sunday:
“After an amazing Recruiting Process, lots of great conversations, miles, weekends, texts & prayers, I have my mind made up & this week I will be making my commitment live on Flo Wrestling. When I Narrowed it down to the final 7, I feel I couldn’t make a bad choice”

Quote of the day
“The Penn State Junior Day was great. I got to do some things I hadn’t done in my other visits there, so I enjoyed that and seeing all of the coaches and staff again.
“I’d say the biggest things that are exciting about Penn State are that they are strong in both football and academics, and I have great relationships with the coaches. And I feel like they are excited about what I could bring to the team, with my speed and size.”
