Trimmings: Penn State coaches on the road; James Franklin checking out prospect committed elsewhere

The NCAA football recruiting evaluation period is back in session, as coaches began hitting the road for in-person stops on Sept. 1. Penn State did not go on the road last weekend as it was not yet open season. On Friday, James Franklin went out for his first fall recruiting stops.
