Video Recap: Penn State quickly fills running back position in Class of 2025
Penn State football didn’t wait very long to land a replacement running back in the Class of 2025. Just hours after Alvin Henderson decommitted from the program and flipped to Auburn on Friday, Philadelphia running back Jabree Wallace-Coleman committed to the program. He made the decision during his official visit to Happy Valley and announced it late Saturday night.
We’re breaking down his recruiting timeline and decision in our latest Committed video. Penn State lands four-star in-state running back
Wallace-Coleman is the fourth running back to commit to the Class of 2025, with KiAndrea Barker and Tiqwai Hayes remaining after Henderson’s decision to leave the class. Recruiting insider Ryan Snyder discusses Wallace-Coleman’s journey to Penn State in our video breakdown. He also outlines how long head coach James Franklin and his staff were after the Imhotep running back.
However, the 6-0, 210-pound running back committed to Georgia, and the Nittany Lions focused on other players, adding the runners already in the class. Then, Wallace-Coleman decommitted from the Bulldogs in December. Snyder discusses how all of that played out with the Lions and the class they had already assembled.
