What time, TV channel, is Penn State-Minnesota on Nov. 23?
Penn State concludes a two-week road portion of its regular season schedule next Saturday when it faces Minnesota in Minneapolis. What time is kickoff? And, which television station will air the game?
The Big Ten will announce on Monday that CBS will broadcast the Lions-Golden Gophers matchup on Nov. 23. It will start at 3:30 p.m. ET. That will mean a 2:30 p.m. CT kick locally at Huntington Bank Stadium. A broadcast crew is not yet assigned to the game. Matt Fortuna of The Inside Zone first reported the news.
Head coach PJ Fleck’s team is fresh off a 26-19 loss at Rutgers and has a bye week before hosting the Nittany Lions.

“We did not play Gopher football and winning Gopher football like we have over the last however many weeks,” Fleck said in Piscataway following the loss. “But it’s college football. It’s not excused or is it acceptable. But I told them in there, I said, we are 0-1 today, simply that, simply, 0-1 and we did not earn the victory today. We didn’t earn it. We didn’t make enough plays; we didn’t coach well enough. And we need to be better, and we will be better. We got, we got to heal up in a lot of areas.

“Guys are playing really hard. I mean, we play so hard. I mean, it’s so fun to watch our kids really play hard. And then we’ve got to put a good game plan together for top-five teams coming into the stadium. So got a lot of things we need to focus on this week.”
Minnesota is No. 38 in this week’s SP+ rankings with a score of 7.1. Penn State is No. 8 at 23.5. Using that as a guide, and adding in three points for home field advantage, we project that the Nittany Lions will be roughly a two-touchdown favorite in Minneapolis. How things go this week against Purdue, however, will factor into the eventual spread, too. The Lions are 28.5-point favorites over the Boilermakers for Saturday’s 3:30 p.m. ET in West Lafayette at Ross-Ade Stadium. That game will also air on CBS.
