What time, TV channel is the Penn State-Washington White Out game on?
STATE COLLEGE — Penn State will move on from its 20-13 loss to Ohio State this Saturday when it hosts Washington next Saturday at Beaver Stadium. It is the Lions’ annual White Out game, and a sell-out crowd is expected. What time will the contest start, and what channel will it be on?
Peacock will broadcast the Big Ten matchup from State College. That means it will be streamed only. It starts at 8 pm ET. The conference had previously announced that it would begin at either 3:30 p.m. ET or 8 p.m. ET. Now, the final decision is in.
Washington entered Saturday’s primetime matchup with USC with a 4-4 record. It lost its two previous games by double digits. The early point spread at DraftKings made the Lions a 14-point favorite. A new line will come out on Sunday morning. The two sides last met in the 2017 Fiesta Bowl, which Penn State won. It is 3-0 all-time against the Huskies.
Penn State must quickly most on from its loss to the Buckeyes
The Lions will have little time to lick their wounds from Saturday’s setback. The goal in the immediate aftermath of the loss will be to focus on corrections. Then, it will be to put this game behind them and get ready for the Huskies.

“We’ve got to do a great job making sure we come in tomorrow, make their corrections, but then Sunday night, we’ve got to flush it and move on to Washington,” Lions coach James Franklin said. “We can’t allow one loss to turn into two. The reality of college football is everything is still ahead of us, and we’ve got to do a great job of making the corrections, eliminating the things that were unforced errors that happened today, and then we’ve got to find a way to get a win next week at home, and everything is still in front of us.”
Added Lions defensive tackle D’Von J-Thomas:
“I’m going to have to police myself and remind my teammates that there’s a lot of football left to be played and remind them that it’s different than in years past. We’re going to have teams come in here and want to take another win against us, and we can’t let that happen. We’ve got to constantly remind each other that there are about six or seven games left, and we have to get through those in order to see them again, and you bet that’s what we want.”
