What time will the 2025 Penn State Blue-White game start?

The 2025 Penn State football Blue-White game officially has a start time. The program announced on Saturday that the annual spring practice finale will start at 2 p.m. ET on April 26. It’s not unclear if the event will be televised by the Big Ten Network or streamed on B1G+. And, no additional details were released about how it will be run after head coach James Franklin suggested earlier this year that it may look different than it has in the past.
“I do see us making some modifications to the spring game,” Franklin said Feb. 12 .”We will still have the spring game, because I know what it means to this community and the hotels and the bars and the restaurants and the tailgating and all of it. We’re working on that now. We we may do some more events that we’re still working through. I don’t want to speak on them too early.
“The spring game, we’ll wait to talk about that in more detail, so that myself, the coaches, the administration, everybody’s on the same page. Because I think a lot of you guys know at a place like Penn State, I locked my date in for the spring game a while ago because there’s so many things at the university that are built around the game in terms of development, fundraising, you know, all types of events that the university has. So, we don’t have a whole lot of flexibility there.”
Penn State starts spring practice on Tue., March 25.
The Blue-White game will not be the only thing different about this year’s Penn State Blue-White game
Beaver Stadium will, of course, look different. Construction crews knocked the 107,000-seat venue’s press box down back in January as part of an ongoing $700 million renovation project. Athletic director Pat Kraft said in February that the spring game is “a little interesting” with work ongoing.

“And by interesting, I really don’t know what it’s going to look like,” Kraft said. “We’re expanding the East Side concourse [this offseason], so we’re doubling the East Main Concourse, and I got to hit a mark of [being done by] that Nevada game. So, you know, look for our information on how to get in the building, and get around the building. And I understand, you got the best football team in the country, and everybody wants to get in. So we’re going to try. We’re going to really work on some things to figure out nuances to that.
“But the West is going to be under construction, and so it’s going to be a bit of an interesting Blue-White game. But we’ll make sure we get everyone information on how to enjoy it.”
