Penn State continues to have the nation’s No. 1 wrestling team in both the tournament and dual meet rankings. It also has numerous Nittany Lions inside of the top eight, which is where they will need to finish in March to earn All-American honors. Here’s the rundown on Dec. 13 ahead of the team’s Sunday dual meet.

125 pounds: Penn State freshman Luke Lilledahl moved up to No. 12 after beating Lehigh’s No. 15 Sheldon Seymour by decision, 4-1, last weekend. He could face No. 7 Jore Volk this weekend. But, the Cowboy might be hurt and thus unavailable to wrestle the Nittany Lion freshman.

133 pounds: Sophomore Braeden Davis is down to No. 11 from No. 10 after falling by decision, 4-2, to No. 1 Ryan Crookham of Lehigh last weekend.

141 pounds: Senior Beau Bartlett continues to hold the No. 3 spot behind only Andrew Alirez of Northern Iowa and Jesse Mendez of Ohio State. He should see No. 28 Cole Brooks of Wyoming this weekend.

149 pounds: Shane Van Ness is still at No. 2 behind only No. 1 Caleb Henson of Virginai Tech. He should see No. 22 Gabe Willochell, a junior, in the Wyoming match this weekend.

157 pounds: Sophomore Tyler Kasak remains at No. 4. He should see No. 19 Jared Hill, a Wyoming junior, this weekend. The top three in the rankings at this weight class are Iowa’s Jacor Teemer, Cornell’s Meyer Shapiro, and Nebraska’s Antrell Taylor at Nos. 1-3, respectively.

165 pounds: Sophomore Mitchell Mesenbrink continues to hold the No. 1 spot in this weight class.

174 pounds: Junior Levi Haines is at No. 2. He is behind only Missouri’s Keegan O’Toole.

184 pounds: Senior Carter Starocci is No. 1.

197 pounds: Redshirt freshman Joshua Barr made the biggest jump of any Penn State wrestler this week. He is up to No. 7 from No. 23 after dominating former Nittany Lion Michael Beard by decision, 11-3, last weekend. Beard fell from No. 6 to No. 8. The top-ranked wrestler here is AJ Ferrari of CSU Bakersfield.

285 pounds: Senior Greg Kerkvliet is No. 2. He is behind only Minnesota’s Gable Steveson.
