Penn State saw just a few of its Class of 2025 commits make any significant moves Monday following the release of the updated On300. Four of PSU’s eight On300 commits saw no change at all, with tight end Matt Henderson making the biggest move, climbing from No. 300 previously to No. 218.

“Matt Henderson has a lot going for him as a tight end prospect,” Power said when asked about Henderson. “I think, for starters, when you turn on the film, his movement skills and overall coordination really jumps out. This is a nimble, fluid athlete. He is essentially a big receiver at this point at the high school level and he really moves well for his size.

“At over 6-foot-5, 210 pounds, he has the frame to continue adding weight, which is a positive for down the road. But I think, when you look at his fluidity, along with his ball skills, it’s all very positive. We consistently see him high-pointing and coming down with catches in traffic, both on jump balls over the middle of the field and just winning in tight windows. I think that’s a key skill you need to have at tight end long-term. As the level increases, winning in contested situations is key. He has the strong hands, tracking skills and overall coordination to be really good there.”

In addition to Henderson, offensive lineman Owen Aliciene and edge rusher Jayden Woods made small moves upwards, climbing just a few spots each. Linebacker Alex Tatsch moved down just a few spots to No. 81 nationally, while Maryland edge rusher Cortez Harris dropped out of the On300 altogether. He was previously ranked No. 199 nationally.

There are also a few remaining targets to note inside the Top 150 of the updated rankings. Players like offensive tackle Malachi Goodman (No. 107), wide receiver Lex Cyrus (No. 109) and defensive end Iose Epenesa (No. 113) all rank just outside of the Top 100. The Nittany Lions are also still interested in a few players committed elsewhere, including cornerback Brandon Finney. The McDonogh prospect moved up more than 60 spots and is now ranked No. 70 nationally. Edge rushers Zahir Mathis and Jayden Loftin are also worth keeping an eye on. Loftin was previously a high three-star prospect but now is ranked No. 157 nationally.
