There’s no shortage of top Penn State targets inside the latest On300 update for the Class of 2025. Since the most recent update back in October, a lot has changed throughout the entire list. That includes two new additions among Penn State’s list of committed players, as linebacker Alex Tatsch and wide receiver Lyrick Samuel officially joined the On300 Monday.

Tatsch’s climb is one of the biggest, as the Latrobe native went from unranked to No. 52 in the entire nation. That also makes him the third-ranked linebacker now. As for Samuel, On3 had already publicly made him a four-star prospect, but now we know where he ranks, coming in at No. 235 nationally. Those two join linebacker DJ McClary as Penn State’s three committed players who made the cut. McClary is now ranked No. 183 nationally. Safety Omari Gaines was previously inside the On300 but has since dropped out.

In addition to the commits, there are plenty of other notable players that fans should be following. That includes another major move for quarterback Matt Zollers, who climbed all the way to No. 17 nationally and No. 3 overall at his position. The Pennsylvania native announced a top four that included Penn State, Georgia, Missouri and Pitt a few weeks ago.

But he’s far from the only Keystone State native who not only made the On300 but ranks in the Top 100 now nationally. In addition to Zollers and Tatsch, two other notables include offensive lineman Michael Carroll and tight end Andrew Olesh. Carroll was previously inside the On300 but moved up again to No. 69 nationally. Olesh is new to the On300 and is now ranked No. 87 nationally. The Southern Lehigh prospect has picked up 14 new scholarship offers since January.

Further down you’ll find another Pennsylvania native that moved up in the rankings, as wide receiver Lex Cyrus climbed nearly 60 spots to No. 132 nationally. The Susquehanna Twp. prospect has long been considered a Penn State lean.
