Which company will have the field naming rights at Beaver Stadium? Here are the details after Penn State board approves it

The Penn State Board of Trustees and its Finance and Investment Committee have voted to approve a proposed naming rights agreement for the field at Beaver Stadium. To be clear, the name of the iconic 107,000-seat structure that is currently amid a $700 million renovation project is not changing. But, the playing surface will now have a sponsor and logos to prove it.
West Shore Home, which is already a prominent sponsor of the Nittany Lions name, image, and likeness efforts, is buying the field naming rights. It will be called West Shore Home Field at Beaver Stadium. The deal is for $50 million over 15 years. It runs 2025-2039. It’s not yet clear what the on-field logos will look like.
“On the field, I would take it like the College Football Playoff marks, at the 20s, it would say West Shore Home fields there,” Kraft said, saying more specifics could come once Monday’s vote concluded.

Kraft added that this agreement pushes Penn State Athletics closer to its BoT-mandated goal of raising $134 toward the renovation. It is now right around $131 million. West Shore Home and its founder, 1999 PSU alum B.J. Werzyn and his family, agreed to the deal back in February. Conversations about it started in the summer of 2024. It is the second largest cash gift in Penn State University history, Kraft told the board.

More on the new Penn State Beaver Stadium field naming right agreements
The proposal passed at the committee level, 7-2, with Anthony Lubrano and Penn State football letterman Brandon Short voting against it. Short did not speak at the committee level but did at the full board meeting. Lubrano did and reminded his fellow board members of his scuttled Paterno Field proposal from 2024.
“I believe Penn State has a bright future, and the future is much more important than the past, but I don’t believe we can reach our full potential by simply telling our alumni to move forward,” Short said in saying he would vote no for the proposal.”
At the full board level, the proposal passed 22-8. Former Nittany Lion quarterback Matt McGloin also voiced support for naming the field after Paterno. Lubrano proposed an amendment to do that, but it was ruled out of order by board chair and not voted on.
