We’re a week away from seeing the new-look-same-look Penn State football defense under new defensive coordinator Tom Allen. While much of the defense will look familiar, there are certain aspects that will be unique to Allen. Each coordinator comes to a job with a personal style and philosophy. However, at the beginning of training camp, Penn State head coach James Franklin discussed one aspect that he’d like to carry over from the success the team had with it’s previous coordinator.
