The cliched saying is that good things come to those who wait. But in the fast-paced world of college and professional football, nobody has time for good ole' fashioned patience. Coaches and fans want to win now, immediately, and without delay. Players want to play their first season on campus and head to riches and glory in the NFL by their third season. Everyone wants to be the exception to the rules.
